That's sick that is! - The Paranoid Android
...musings of a mechanically depressed robot...
That's sick that is!
Sick is the new bad... or wicked... or something.

Last Friday night after a particularly late finish at work I was travelling home on one of the last trains stone cold sober and a delightful young lady staggered towards me and puked down my front.  Not a word of apology or anything.  I was lucky enough to have my gym kit with me so I was able to wipe myself down with a towel in Mile End station.

Saturday was spent mostly play WoW.  I have been seriously neglecting it of late so I took my Pally into a couple of low level instanced and stocked up on rare items for my up coming Mage enchanter.  I also was able to pick up a silly amount of cloth and wool.  I think the Deep Mines and I will be spending a lot of time getting to know one another.  I have maxed out the Mage's enchanting and tailoring for her current level - so I'll need to get her up to level 20 at some point too.

I did manage to get all my laundry done too on Saturday - and watch some Spooks - so it wasn't a whole day on the computer.

Sunday I woke about 9:00 - switched on the radio and read in bed until about 13:00.  I got up and managed to get to the 'rents abode by 14:00.  Good food was had, Dad and I watched the last of Season 1 Battlestar Galactica and I recovered all of Jo's music files.

This week started off the way the last one ended.  Some dick-heads decided to break out of their broken down "c2c" train and walk along the tracks to the next station.  This was along side the District line which employs a live rail of 600 odd volts DC.  It's dangerous for dick-heads to be that close to that kind of danger - so the power was cut on the District line.

I use the district line to get home... so I was a little pissed off to find it suspended between White Chapel and Barking... along with the Hammersmith and City line - the only two lines that go my way.  After a bit of sodding about I managed to get an overground train to Romford and a bus home.

I got "home" about 11ish to find I had no keys... so a quick call to the 'rents to warn them I was coming their way to pick up my spares.  Luckily they were still up!  A "perfect" end to the "perfect" day.

I ordered some groceries for Tuesday.  I picked a 21:00-23:00 slot because getting home before nine just ain't been happening recently!  Luckily I was home about 20:30 because the delivery arrived at 15 to!  I have to wonder why they have slots to book at all.  I went a bit mad and ordered a load of fruit!  I now have apples and oranges and grapes!  I was also suckered in to the "buy 2 get 50p off" con so I now have 2 bottles of mouth wash and two bottles of bleach.  The 50p I saved will be eaten up by the extra interest I pay on my overdraft for having that much less money at the end of the month.

I cooked yesterday.  Yes!  - That needs to be recorded - I really don't cook that often.  There was a prawn pasta dish that Misty makes that is heavenly.  It seemed simple enough to make - so I had a go.  It didn't turn out quite the same as expected... and I ended up making enough for the entire street... but it was tasty! Even if I say so myself.  I have frozen a couple portions so we'll see what it tastes like "pinged" too.

Today is BD4.  This month BD4 is also BD5 for us... and the States don't get tomorrow and Monday off.  These means I should be doing two days work in one!  It's something of a shame that the people who supply me with the data can't get their arse in gear so I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs... or updating... or something.

Oh. My. God. If someone had thrown up on me, I think I would either have reciprocated or punched them in the face. Or both at the same time. I don't know. EW!

My first reaction was to explode in a rage... but then what is the point? At best she'll have yet another ache the following morning... at worst I'd be in gaol for ABH.

I just chalked it up as another "You'll never guess what happened to me" story! ;)

Re: Food products?

I think it was almost completely alcohol... from the smell :(

I have no doubt that she didn't mean it - I am not sure she knew what her name was - never mind what she was doing - but it didn't make it any more pleasant!
