Return of the Dead
It's been a while... mainly because I haven't really been near a computer much over the last 9 days or so.

It started on Friday (12th) when I left the spoons after meeting the_book, qkm_jd, and lardy_bloke. I was shivering so hard I thought my teeth would shatter. I wanted home, no waiting. Misty wanted feeding, so we grabbed some fish and chips and got a taxi home.

Over the weekend I got worse. I awoke in a river of sweat and my temperature went over 100°F. I combatted this with pills, which when I got to the Doctors on Monday was about the only thing that could be done. (he did check my lungs/throat/pulse(!) so it wasn't a totally wasted trip... well... ok... it was a totally wasted trip.

Tuesday Misty went to visit her folks. I won't see her again till mid January. Wednesday and Thursday are a bit of a blur, I remember spending most of those days in bed. It was Thursday I found out that the phone line wasn't working. It was also on Thursday I found out my Mobile was nowhere to be found. I remember having it with me on Friday, but I have no idea where the hell it is. This left me feeling a little cut off from the world on Thursday. Joanne came round Thursday to tell me Misty had been trying to call. Mum's phone was also out of action and I later found out Misty had been calling every number she knew trying to get hold of me. What with my absence online, she was starting to think the worse.

Friday I dragged my sorry arse out of bed and got to the Chemists. I also needed to mail Misty her purse as she had left it behind when she left for the States on Tuesday. It contained every card she owned, and her driving licence. The Post office analy raped me over getting it there before Christmas. I also managed to leave my drugs in the Chemist, making it almost to my front door before I realised. In total the trip to the shops took me over two and a half hours. I was totally drained.

On my return from the chemists for the second time I poped into Mum's. She lives a little closer to the shops that I do, and I was loosing the will to walk. Mum fed and watered me before sending me home a couple of hours later.

I ate at mum's on Saturday and Sunday too. I also managed to Iron enough shirts so I don't need to every morning before work.

Today I'm back in work, not exactly back to my former glory, but well enough for the travel in. At least I can get some food here without havig to prepare it myself!

Current Mood: sick sick

Just be careful, James...the new flu is nasty, and has taken so many people down this year. Luckily, you're mostly in good health. I do worry about you gettins so incredibly sick every winter, though. You'd think they could determine what triggered that, FFS.

Take care of yourself, check in on the Misses often because she will worry was women are wont to do, and look forward to holding her in your arms again. Love ya, hon, have a merry merry.

Hi! I hope you get better and back in shape soon, to your former glory! (I've never seen you, but I bet, it's pretty good!)

And, I hope that you can come off the drugs for long enough to have a really good Christmas and New Year! x

PS. Mums are great...aren't they?!
