Death as an anthropomorphic being....
Based on a recent post from Misty ...
The Boogeyman has never really had a form in my mind. It was too horrid to think of in a physical form too. I do know it lived under my bed though - and was not able to come out if the light was on or it was daylight. I'm glad I thought that - because if the Boogyman was not afraid of the light (in my mind) I think I would have been one seriously disturbed child!

I guess I have read too many "Discworld" novels, because if Death had a form it would be that classic skeleton in a black cloak with a scythe riding on a white horse. He'd also talk "IN UPPERCASE"... But thinking about it, even before I read the discworld novels death was always a cloaked figure with a scythe.

Come to think about it Terry Pratchet also shared my childish views on the Boogyman... If you've not read any of his stuff you should... because I said so!

Current Mood: contemplative contemplative
Current Music: Eddie Griffin - Voodoo Child
