End of an Era...
Yesterday was my last day working in the Romford office... I started there on March 26, 2000, more than 13 years ago. I have had some good times, met a lot of great people, and drunk an obscene amount of alcohol. All this ended with a bit of a damp squib as I had a solitary beer with a couple of good people (and Bradley) in the "Spoons" last night.

Today I'm working in Dials, a large character-less office near Liverpool Street Station, much like all the other large character-less offices near Liverpool Street Station.

I have about a weeks worth of work to do before I go home tonight... it's not going to get done. I'll probably work very late, and it still won't get done. TD's gonna end up doing a lot of this next week (sorry TD!) and he's gonna be torn between Nicky and Shaun, just as I have been all day.

Work sucks.

Best get back to this crap.

Work does suck .. but you'll be far away from the dull office in Liverpool Street next week ... things could be worse, you could be working in a dull office in London Wall, where it takes ten minutes to get from the ground floor to the 16th! And least you'll still be working with the same ppl, and can catch a few beers at The Hall on the way home :o)

BTW .. did I mention, the lifts in Canary Wharf have a monitor in them which lets you know what time the DLR trains are leaving --- you know whether you need to do a gentle jog to catch your train or take a nice leisurely stroll .. cool idea :o)

Have a good holiday hun ...

*huggggggggggggggggggggggggggs!*

Chin up, darlin'....soon you'll have a Misty-cat waiting at home for you at the end of every long, dull, character-less day...what could be better than that? And besides since you're NOT character-less, maybe you'll wear off on the office and bring your special quality to it.

*mwah!* It could be worse, yeah? Enjoy your time the states...
